It is awfully sad to watch a disaster get worse. Nuclear calamity coming? Radiation leaking.. A tsunami burying entire villages, and their residents done forever in time. This is some sad stuff.. Get the potassium iodine pills ready..
Life after death
Or the lack of one..
I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about the prospects of life after death.. the idea that we live on in some other form, whether it be with a soul or simply with a thought..
The human body does in fact die. That is a fact provable. Then human mind, it would then seem, would also follow. The mind may have a few last thoughts, or perhaps a glimmer of something, at the moment we go..
But then what?
Reincarnation?
Computer shuts down for good?
An afterlife?
Hell?
Heaven?
…or nothing. Absolutely nothing…?
It is rather disconcerning that no one has a true answer.
Yes there is a plethora of ideas. Notions of what happens to a life after death are abundant. But what is lacking is proof of anything. It would be nice to know of something after this.. It would also be truly great if one of the billion+ folks that left this planet would somehow be able to come back from where ever they were or are and let us know what actually happens.
But they don’t. At least I don’t think they do.
And if they do I have yet to see them…
But I’m waiting.

I found myself in a booth. Casting votes for men who promise they won’t lie.. Men who look like polished porn stars. Some who appear to be speaking with a forked tongue chafing the inside of their mouths..
But this is the choice. The bleak and wretched choice.
But at least I’ll get a little red, white, and blue sticker that ‘I voted’ ..
